University Advancement Launches 3rd Cohort of the Company Series Program

The 3rd cohort of the Company Series Program with academia staff and industry partners.

The Directorate of University Advancement & Institutional Development launched the 3rd Cohort of the Company Series Program on Friday, 12th September 2025, bringing together senior university leadership, industry experts and over 120 students from the Faculties of Engineering and Science & Technology.

The Company Series Program, under the Engineering & Science Complex (ESC), is designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by equipping students with mentorship, soft skills and practical exposure to real-world work environments. Through its six circuits —Interactive Day, 21st Century Graduate, Problem Solving, Climate Change, Field Trips, and Mock Interviews & Awards, the program empowers students with the competencies required to thrive in the job market and entrepreneurship, while promoting innovation and sustainability.

Speaking during the launch, Director of University Advancement and industry partners emphasized the program’s role in producing well-rounded graduates who are technically skilled, adaptable, and aligned to industry demands. The initiative continues to position the University of Nairobi as a hub for nurturing talent and fostering industry-academia collaboration.
