Director of University Advancement and Institutional Development, Mr.Brian Ouma has been appointed as the Acting Chief Operations Officer (COO). In his role, Mr. Ouma will be in-charge of all the administrative non-academic departments and oversee the day to day running of all their activities in the University.
The COO is the administrative head of the University and will be directly answering to the Vice Chancellor.

Prof. Kiama noted that all teaching has been reorganized under 11 teaching faculties and will be run by Executive Deans assisted by Associate Deans. This will enhance accountability and efficiency in the management of academic programs in this new reforms.
