The University of Nairobi, through the Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation (ICCA), successfully hosted the second edition of the African School on Climate Change and Adaptation from June 30 to July 11, 2025. The two-week program brought together 27 participants from Kenya, across Africa, and international universities, fostering interdisciplinary learning on climate resilience, sustainability, and adaptation.

The University of Nairobi  (UoN) and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) held a strategic partnership workshop from July 1–3, 2025, aimed at deepening collaboration in research, innovation, and curriculum co-creation. The three-day program, hosted at the University of Nairobi Towers, brought together academic leaders, innovation experts, and institutional leaders to explore new pathways for impactful collaboration.

The University of Nairobi held its Annual Tree-Planting Exercise at the Upper Kabete Campus on April 11, 2025, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability and the national agenda on climate action.
