On 29th July 2025, the Directorate of Advancement and Institutional Development held a strategic board meeting to review the status and progress of its key project portfolios, including the Engineering and Science Complex (ESC), Green STEM, Global Center on Adaptation (GCA) initiatives, and the Summer School programs.

The third edition of the Changemakers School was held from July 21 to 24, 2025, at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi, bringing together professionals and decision-makers from the transport, water, energy, and ICT sectors for an intensive masterclass on climate-resilient infrastructure.

The Engineering and Science Complex (ESC) Project marked a major milestone in its policy and systems development journey through two back-to-back workshops held in Naivasha from 17 to 18 July 2025. The sessions brought together interdisciplinary teams under the key ESC pillars to co-develop policy frameworks and digital transformation roadmaps aimed at strengthening the project's implementation and long-term sustainability.
