The University of Nairobi marked another significant milestone in advancing industry-oriented education, following the successful completion of the Company Series Circuit Cohort 3 under the Engineering and Science Complex (ESC) Industry-Academia Pillar. The programme culminated on Friday, January 10, 2026, with over 100 students from the Faculties of Engineering and Science & Technology graduating from the intensive professional development initiative.

The Company Series Circuit is a flagship component of the ESC Industry-Academia Pillar, designed to bridge the gap between academic training and industry expectations. Through a structured series of engagements, the programme equips students with critical employability skills, practical exposure, and professional networks necessary for a competitive job market.

The day’s activities commenced with an intensive mock interview session involving 75 students drawn from both faculties. The interviews were conducted by Human Resource professionals from Bureau Veritas, Decathlon Kenya, and Solargen Technologies Limited, with support from Mr. Marc Zolver, Foreign Expert on Industry-Academia Cooperation at the University.

This session provided students with invaluable real-world interview experience, including personalized feedback on their curricula vitae and professional presentation. The interactive engagement enabled participants to refine their communication skills, better understand employer expectations, and enhance their overall readiness for the workplace.
