Continued Partnership with University of Rwanda to boost Knowledge Creation and Technology Infrastructure

The University of Rwanda will continue working with the University of Nairobi through the African Engineering and Technology Network (AFRETEC) to build strong knowledge creation and technological infrastructure and provide a platform to engage in deep collaboration that drives inclusive digital growth in Africa.

This was revealed during a courtesy call by a delegation from the University of Rwanda and AFRETEC to the Director of University Advancement and Institutional Development, Mr Brian Ouma on Friday, February 16, 2024. The AFRETEC delegation was led by Dr Ravmond Dikumana, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Strategic Planning and Administration at the University of Rwanda, accompanied by Pierre Bakunzibake, AFRTECE Network Coordinator also from the University of Rwanda.

 

During the engagement, the two sides shared their current developments regarding AFRETEC. After the courtesy call, the delegation met with members of staff from the Directorate of University Advancement and Institutional Development for further deliberations on areas of collaboration.
