UoN to Partner with Nation Media Group in Powering SMEs

Directorates of Corporate Affairs and University Advancement members take a group photo with the team from NMG.

The University of Nairobi will partner with Nation Media Group (NMG) in powering Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs). The media partnership proposal was presented during a courtesy call to the Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Brian Ouma by NMG team lead by the Commercial General Manager, Mr. James Sogoti.

The University of Nairobi will be the knowledge partner for the Powering SME magazine, which is a weekly pull out from the Daily Nation Newspaper that also has digital and social media pages. This will offer the University of Nairobi a platform to disseminate knowledge to the masses, especially the youth who want to venture into business.

The partnership will achieve; knowledge sharing, skills transfer, capacity building, linkage to other partners and professional insights.

Also present at the courtesy call was Director Corporate Affairs, Mr. John Orindi, Assistant Director Corporate Affairs, Ms. Hellen Agenga, Directorate of University Advancement Programmes Manager, Ms. Anne Nkoidila and Mr. Peter Kiilu from the Faculty of Business and Management Science.
