UoN and Center for Parliamentary Studies and Training Renew their Partnership

The University of Nairobi has renewed its collaboration with the Centre for Parliamentary Studies and Training (CPST) for another 5 years to offer its fit for purpose and relevant programmes to   Parliamentarians and Staff of Parliament. The programmes include Parliamentary democracy and governance, diplomacy and conflict management. Through the agreement, Members of Parliament and staff of Parliament will have the opportunity to   acquire diplomas and post graduate qualifications from the University of Nairobi.

UoN Continues to Rank Top Amid COVID-19 Challenges

The University of Nairobi has been ranked best university in the country and in the East and Central Africa Region for more than 5 years in row in the just released Webometrics Ranking. The Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics) has released the July 2021 edition of the Webometrics report placing the University of Nairobi position 1 in Kenya, 13 in Africa and 1054 in the world.

New Appointment

Mr. Brian Ouma, Director of University Advancement and Institutional Development has been appointed as the Acting Chief Operations Officer (COO). The COO is a new position which was created during the governance reforms of 2021. The COO is in charge of all administrative operations in the university.
