The University of Nairobi will host former Judge and incumbent president of  the Republic of Italy His Excellency Sergio Mattarella for a public lecture on Climate change. In what promises to be an illuminating discourse on a key issue in the global arena, President Sergio Mattarella shall deliver his address to over 500 students and delegates from all over the country at the iconic Taifa Hall at the University of Nairobi, main campus on Thursday, March 16th 2023 as from 9 am.

President Mattarella will share his perspectives on the critical need for governments and the International Community to prioritize climate change in their policy decisions and actions with the pivotal role of youth. The address comes as Kenya and the world at large grapple with the effects of climate change and unreliable weather patterns such as the ongoing drought in the country.
