Overview
The University of Nairobi and Elgon Kenya Ltd have sought to establish and an Agricultural Technology and Innovation Center (ATIC). The center will seek to accelerate innovation, research and development in order to boost agricultural productivity.
It will focus on bridging the gap between industry, (agriculture, equipment and innovation), academia (research and innovation) and production (farmer). Thus it will offer farmers, students and all agricultural stakeholders’ access to knowledge, learning materials as well as social network linkages.
