The French Development Agency (AFD) and SOFRECO toured the Wangari Maathai Institute (WMI) on September 25th 2019. The purpose of the tour was to view the green concept building plan that was used to build WMI. The same concept will be used to build an Engineering and Science Complex at the University of Nairobi which the plans are currently under way.

Joining the two teams were the DVC, Human Resource and Administration, Prof. Kiama, Prof. David Mungai, Associate Professor, University Advancement Director, Mr. Brian Ouma, among other WMI management.
