The Engineering and Science Complex (ESC) Innovation Pillar advanced a landmark step in strengthening innovation at the University of Nairobi through a three-day workshop held from 22nd to 24th September, 2025, in Naivasha. The workshop focused on developing an Innovation Business Model to guide the Innovation Community of Excellence (CoE) operations and shape the business approach of all other ESC CoEs.

The University of Nairobi’s Engineering and Science Complex (ESC) Research Pillar is currently holding a strategic meeting in Naivasha from 15th to 18th September 2025 to shape the establishment of a Computing and Artificial Intelligence Community of Excellence (CoE).

The Directorate of University Advancement & Institutional Development launched the 3rd Cohort of the Company Series Program on Friday, 12th September 2025, bringing together senior university leadership, industry experts and over 120 students from the Faculties of Engineering and Science & Technology.
