The University of Nairobi’s Global Center on Adaptation (GCA) team recently organised a four-day Cost-Benefit Analysis workshop in Naivasha, from 19 to 22 August 2025, bringing together experts and stakeholders from the Transport, Energy, Water, and ICT sectors to promote climate risk management solutions for Kenya.

The University of Nairobi, in partnership with Elgon Kenya Ltd, officially launched the Kantaria Agricultural Technology and Innovation Centre (KATIC) at its Upper Kabete Campus on August 14, 2025. This marked a major milestone in bridging the gap between academia and industry in Kenya’s agricultural sector.
