The University of Nairobi set aside Thursday, 27th January 2022 to hold its annual inter-faith prayer day. The event served as a platform to commit the University Community and all planned activities for the year 2022 into God’s hands as well as give thanks to God for his grace and protection.
The University Chaplaincy has organized an Inter-Faith University Prayer Day to commit the University Community and all planned activities for the year 2022 into God’s hands. This is also a day set aside for giving thanks to God and seeking for His continued blessings and protection to the University Community.

On January 11, 2022, the 2021 International Institute of Online Education (IIOE) Partner Annual Conference (West Asia and Africa) was successfully held.
During the Conference, The University of Nairobi was appointed rotating Chair unit of the IIOE in 2022. “The IIOE National Centers" were officially launched in Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, and Zambia.
